R2R Trained Facilitator

The Rhythm2Recovery model utilizes fun and engaging rhythmic musical activities to support social and emotional development. This approach has been shown to support increased emotional regulation, improved social connection and reduced levels of anxiety and other elements of psychological distress.

R2R was developed by Simon Faulkner, the author of the very successful DRUMBEAT program. Unlike DRUMBEAT, it is not a prescriptive program, but a model comprising rhythmic tools which can be combined into a number of different programs, tailored to specific needs, such as bullying prevention, family violence, special needs and at-risk youth programs.

Central to the R2R model is exploring  and identifying core values, oriented towards helping people confirm their core beliefs as a foundation for identity, and behavior.

Sustaining Rhythms offers the R2R Bullying Awareness and Prevention program for schools, and can construct programs tailored to your specific needs.
